What a weekend it was for the MotoConcepts & We All Ride racers at Anaheim 2! We All Ride was excited to help promote and celebrate breast cancer as they passed out special edition t-shirts in support of breast cancer! As the first heat race of the night #59 Vince Friese decided he wanted to steal the spotlight as he stole the holeshot from everyone and rode comfortably to a fourth place finish in the first heat. Vince was finally feeling back to full healthy and looking forward to his chances in the night’s main event! As the night settled in Vince was ready to go and once again nabbed a solid start and rode himself into a solid top ten finish into 8th place for the night. Vince is feeling strong and confident and cannot wait to get to San Diego. #801 Jeff Alessi – For anyone who happened to watch supercross this weekend, they got the chance to see both the Alessi brothers in the night’s main event. After suffering a tough injury only a few weeks before the season, Jeff has been nursing an injury and been trying to regain strength and stamina to compete with the big boys. Jeff jumped out to an early top 10 start in his race, and with the likes of James Stewart crashing out Jeff was able to secure a 7th place finish in the first heat for the 450 class. When it came to the main event Jeff was able to put his MotoConcepts bike out towards the front, but due to lack of stamina and a little bit of arm pump Jeff backed it off and finished in 19th place. This was Jeff’s first main event race of the season, and with his confidence back up he is pumped and ready to become a top ten contender! #800 Mike Alessi – In the nights second heat race for the 450 class, Mike Alessi didn’t surprise anyone with a signature holeshot and got out front early was poised to pass Davi Millsaps but as Davi decided to crash in the corner before the whoops Mike did everything he could to avoid falling but fell victim to the accident. Mike quickly got up and was only passed by Justin Brayton and Ryan Villopoto. Mike would finish a solid 3rd in the heat race. Mike would go onto the main event, and was surprised that his teammate and brother Jeff Alessi would get a better jump than him into the first corner. Mike rode smooth and smart to an 8th place finish for the night. It was an epic night for the We All Ride/ MotoConcepts boys as we had Jeff Alessi make his first main event of the season and two solid holeshots in both the lites and main class for the night. It was followed up by two 8th place finishes in the lites and main class, the boys are excited to build off this moment and carry it into San Diego supercross before the season heads east! We All Ride would like to say thanks to all its supporters and proud to be apart of the MotoConcepts 2012 race team!
